Why The Punjabi Industry Ignores 'Veerendra' Who Is Called The Godfather Of Punjabi Cinema.

I have been a fan of Veerendra from the very beginning. Beside, I have been watching every Punjabi actor's film but I have not found any actor like Veerendra.  Veerendra has raised the standard of Punjabi films considerably.

Every one of his films was a super hit except for two or three. Veerendra's fans are also happy to see Veerendra's post. But it is a pity that today's generation does not know the name of Veerendra & his film. Who is to blame for this?

One thing you have noticed is that Punjabi artists share each other's songs. Congratulate each other on their birthdays by posting photos, protesting on social media when a movie star passes away.

 

But Veerendra who gave a different level to Punjabi cinema through his work.No one takes his name, no movie star talks about Veerendra. No one remembers his birthday or death.The actors who work with him don't say anything about him.Neither Gurdas Maan, nor Yograj, nor Gaggu Gill, Nor did Dharmendra ever say anything about Veerendra,nor anyone in the media interviews ask them about Veerendra,  Nor do they speak for themselves.Why so wide? There is only one Preeti Sapru who praises Veerendra in every interview.

Whenever there is an award show of PTC, leave the honor of Veerendra.In my opinion, if a tribute is paid to Veerendra in the award show with a 2 minute silence, it will not be less than any other award.Veerendra must be sitting and thinking " Calling me the son of Punjab Where did they go today?  I wonder why there is so much discrimination against Veerendra.

I wanted to publish an article 15, 16 years ago.But write about any new actors, artists who are called by the newspapers.Who knows Veerendra nowadays.At that time I was thinking of one thing that I can't let Veerendra run like that. I struggled for many years about Veerendra.Navtej Sandhu Bhaji had organized an First Film Festival award in Amritsar at that time.

Veerendra was mentioned there. Veerendra's wife Pammi Veerendra ji also came.But this award did not last long.Sadly, Pammi Veerendra Ji passed away in 2010.

Why is there a difference in everything?

  

I wish the hashtag would become popular by putting a hashtag on Twitter and the governments of the world are solved And justice is done. For example, I want to create a hashtag and shake Twitter. Virender should be Veerendra, so that the discrimination with Veerendra is stopped and he got his due right. Veerendra should also be mentioned in every award show.I wish every year the award should be on one Veerendra ji Wherever they are talked about, they get respect.
