Chehre, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Emraan Hashmi, Rhea Chakraborty, and Annu Kapoor, is a much-awaited film, which recently released its trailer. A mystery thriller, Chehre is directed by Rumy Jafry and is slated to release on 9th April 2021. 

The trailer of the film begins with Amitabh Bachchan’s voiceover, as he conveys warning about a game. Later, we see Emraan Hashmi meeting a group of four older gentlemen in a huge mansion, who ask them to join their game of justice and judgement. The actors who portray the four men are Amitabh Bachchan, Raghubir Yadav, Annu Kapoor, and Dhrittiman Chaterjee. The mysterious and thrilling tone of the plot of Chehre is later seen increasing in the trailer, as Emraan Hashmi finds himself trapped in the game played by the four men, and sees a potential danger in it. While none of the posters and the teasers featured Rhea Chakraborty in them, the Chehre trailer does feature her, but only for a matter of a few seconds. We also see a glimpse of actor Siddhanth Kapoor and actress Krystle D’souza in the trailer. The film is directed by Rumy Jafry, who is known for writing comedy films, and has written a lot of films in the Hindi film industry. He has also previously directed films, and Chehre will be his fourth film as a director. Besides Chehre, Emraan Hashmi has recently also starred in the film Mumbai Saga, which released on 19 March in cinema halls. He will also be seen in upcoming films, Gangubai Kathiawadi, which stars Alia Bhatt in the title role, and Ezra, both of which, are slated to release in 2021.
